Discussing football in general this morning with 2 work colleagues and Man City came up in converastion-they have the most incredible striking options available-seven known quality goal-scorers available-why would they be doing this???Squad rotation, and covering yourself against injuries/suspensions.we are not their league, obviously, but the blueprint is there.

Completely agree. As I've said many times you improve and improve your squad no matter what. There is talk today that Barcelona want Fabregas why? Because Barcelona still think they can improve on what they have. Until we have the best 23 players in the world in our squad there is always room for improvement. Anyone who thinks differently is naive.

We can't compete with the big boys but we can bring in players who are better than the ones we have. We released Baidoo and Bailey and brought in Buzsaky and Routledge. So why not improve on the strikers we have? The likes of Lita, Evans, Cox, McGoldrick etc have all gone but each of them would have been better than what we have. When the time comes you bring in new strikers to improve on those and so on and so forth. In time if we really do have Champions League ambitions than none of the squad will be playing for us because we will have improved on what we've got. Not rocket science just obviously straightforward thinking.

Not being funny mate, but I'm getting fed up with signing unknown strikers so can you make a list of some better ones?
                Your mum would love me...

we need 2 decent strikers because at the moment we do not have 1 decent one to put the ball in the net:cry::cry::cry::cry:

YES every man and his dog can see we need a striker, with the exception of FB and GP, they just can't see it. I dare say Amit has told them this, but Briatore's ego is to big for him to back down and admit he's wrong.
