  • Taraabt's Position

    http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/play...eltaarabt.html

The article starts: The skilful young midfielder....

    http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/spo...cle2532433.ece

He has mainly played on the left but would prefer to play behind the two strikers. “It’s not my position [on the left],” Taarabt told Hotspur magazine. “But if the coach asks me to play there then I will give 100 per cent. I think I’ve got good technique. I play with both feet, but my heading skills are not the greatest. I am not to keen on defending, but my strongest point is dribbling and taking people on.

Queens Park Rangers Football Club is delighted to announce the loan signing of Tottenham midfielder Adel Taarabt.

So that's our official website, Spurs official website plus two respectable websites that all state the Taraabt is a midfielder. But of course our club and their club must be wrong and we should all believe that he is a striker.

His best position is behind the front 2, I think he will probably be rotated throughout the season.

            can i ask

whats with all the skill is it necassary. does he have ocd and have to do a certain amount of stepovers before he can do anything else with the ball?
i supported qpr in the glory days when chris kiwomya and michael ngonge played up front

Me thinks you are looking at old records.

Scored hat-trick this February for Spurs and Morrocco clearly name him as striker

It suits the style we play, if you want big kicks from Cerny than play a Adebola or a Pellcori type player.

If you want the skilful stuff played on the floor, then Tarrabt is well suited to that format and think he will scare big defenders and lets be fair, in the championship how owuld defenders prefer to play? Knocking balls out with headers or being tricked with pace and falir on the ground, you and I know the answer to that.

                      so nothing about his finishing?

                      what about positioning?

                      intelligence?

what you have stated is the job of a winger. like routledge. tarrabt has no end product. judging by what you are saying we can also play routledge up front. now cristiano ronaldo never played up front.

a few stepovers does not make you a striker

look at some of the goals from the weekend. we have no one who can finish like morrison did. thats the class we are missing

playing it on the floor!!!! they must have played 10 long balls in the first 15 minutes.

He's played one game in the champiosnhip, in his proper position.

He scored a cracker against Southampton playing up front, that was just 9 days ago.

Sorry, your argument will be, it was only a friendly?

Give him a chance, Cox, Lita, Blackstock, Earnshaw, and all the other big names didn't score on Saturday.

Though Morrison did, so that makes him the answer

no defenders even close to him against southampton. watch the warm up. even damion stewart smashes them in from 12 yards.

he is not a striker. never has never will be

he does not have the ability

answer this shall we play routledge up front as well?

Routledge is a right winger, not behind a diamond or right back or striker. Pacey right winger.

                              Hope that answers your question.

Before, March this year had you seen Tarrabt play?
