    a dose of reality

a draw v bpool at home eh??
despite all our chances, AGAIN it stands out we need a striker
heidar missed an open goal from ayard out and hit the bar
    taraabt won't pass
rowly did get injured, thankfully not serious
4-3-3 was a disaster, no width
our goal came from a miss hit cross from the RAM
sold out? well a better attendance than i expected but plenty of seats
    long queues for everything
warm beer..how hard to chill beers?? are the fridges only turned on matchdays...

at least we created chances..there was some good passing play early on...

the crowd stayed behind the team but it's easier to raise the titanic than to get a song going at qpr.

i have to agree. Some people do moan at everything, but in this instance, i think its reality. We dont have any firepower up front. The rest of the side looks very strong, but at the end of the day - if your strikers cant score goals - theres a big problem. With the amount of money our owners have, it is a big let down that this hasnt been sorted. We scored less goals than the bottom team in the league last year - how much clearer does it need to be?

Dont know where he was sitting, but the crowd got behind the team and a good atmosphere.

atmosphere didnt seem to be any better than last season from where i was sitting to be honest.....maybe less abuse to the players (apart from HH who got a mouthfull from the bloke next to me every time he touched the ball)

looking on the positive side though we did create a load of chances which is an improvement on last season when we created f'all more often than not!

Agree with some of that. It's blindingly obvious we need a quality striker!
