Why loan them if you can sell them? Neither are getting any younger.

Aparently Reading are keen on DJ, if we can raise somewhere around the 1m mark and get him off the payroll that's good business. I get the impression that Bothroyd may be on a bigger salary after signing on a free, offloading him may be more difficult especially considering how ineffective he was in the Prem last season. Perhaps Cardiff may take him back on a free with their new investors.

If you're on a budget Id go with "AJ". Plus if he gets a number between 2 and 9 you're onto a right cheap year on the shirt printing front .

On the flip side, if you fancy being a flash 'arry, Wright-Phillips is a good way to spend some cash in the club shop's printing department.

Foolish to get rid of DJ Campbell and replace him with AJ. DJ scored more Premier league goals in 1 season at Blackpool than Andy Johnson has scored in his last 3 seasons at Fulham. Plus DJ is a rangers fan, know who I'd rather have!
