Can someone explain the rules about not being allowed to announce anything before the 1st of July? We signed jamie Mackie in May 2010 for an undisclosed fee, was it allowed back then to announce that fees were agreed for players? Arsenal have announced the podolski signing and Chelsea have announced both Marin and Hazard. Or are the guys on the offy just slow as usual?

That's why I find it irritating to read comments like it's only June and the window doesn't open until 1st July. Other Clubs announce their deals including man u with Powell and the Japanese player from Dortmund. It doesn't matter if they can't be registered until 1st July.

Building a great squad. People like Nelsen dont get the pulses racing, but having him and Fabio (probably) on the bench instead of people like Hall and Young shows we aer building the foundations. Buzzing for next season already.

Exactly, this is why I'm asking. Not based on greedyness at all, just want to know why things always are so slow when it comes to qpr, despite fantastic owners and a fantastic staff.
