Fun and games does not go hand in hand with race issues, irrespective of whether people want to dress it up as just a bit of a leg pull. I wonder if you were a white (generic) Englishman playing football in England and someone threw some trash at you, would it have any significance on the world stage? That's precisely why I said you need to know your history - when has anyone been persecuted simply for having white skin?

My drama teacher at school refused to give me the part of Nelson Mandela in our school History play because of my skin colour. I spent countless hours auditioning for that, only to be rebuffed solely on my skin colour, even though I was a much better actor with a much better South afrikaan accent than the lad that actually got given the role.

If thats not persecution I dont know what is.
