Let's get this straight - "pay as you play" for a Premier league footballer does not mean they don;t get paid when unfit.

It means they pay related bonusses that equate to much more than their base salary if they play every game.

It still means he could be on anything like 10-20k a week or more.

Utter waste of money - I said it before last season as well.

There has to be something else to this perhaps something in his contract if we stayed up etc... if we were in the championship then I could understand it but we gotta be setting our sights a little higher now. if thats the case silvercue, you can blame warnkock for that. it seems in keeping dyer for another season furthers my opinion that hughes will NOT get signifficant funds in the transfer market.
