He must be on a pay as you play deal, otherwise I am shocked. Hughes must see him as some sort of motivator for the squad with his experience. I pray that he's not in our plans for next season...
Anyway, absolutely delighted for Clint. Congrats mate, you've earned it.

Seems realistic.Originally posted by DeepcutHoop View PostIf that's true, it can only be part of his original contract, that automatically extended if we stayed up.
There is absolutely no other reason that makes any sense.
If so, who on earth was negotiating our contracts last summer.......

In football terms that's not alot. Joey's on something like 60k, maybe moreOriginally posted by Sprocket View Post10K FFS that is .5 million per year for sitting in the treatment room. What friggin planet are you on...little moneyUnder Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes

Let's get this straight - "pay as you play" for a Premier league footballer does not mean they don;t get paid when unfit.Originally posted by W12hoops View PostHe must be on a pay as you play deal, otherwise I am shocked. It means they pay related bonusses that equate to much more than their base salary if they play every game.
It still means he could be on anything like 10-20k a week or more.
Utter waste of money - I said it before last season as well.

You cant pay someone like Dyer 10K per week on that off chance he might play. There has to be something else to this perhaps something in his contract if we stayed up etc... if we were in the championship then I could understand it but we gotta be setting our sights a little higher now. Astounded at this. Also the Cerny contract offer is a strange one. I suspect it may be a coaching/backup roleOriginally posted by qpr View PostIn football terms that's not alot. Michael Owen? And was he talking about their regular scrabble via their iPhones at 3:00 o'clock Saturdays when they had nothing else to do?Originally posted by californiahoop View Post
I know a pro footballer in the prem who says Dyer is the best player he has ever played against.

if thats the case silvercue, you can blame warnkock for that. it seems in keeping dyer for another season furthers my opinion that hughes will NOT get signifficant funds in the transfer market.nsa/cia spy on this..............┌∩┐(◣_◢)┌∩┐
