Agreed, it is good. But just because we got him for a bargain does not mean he is a legend.

Im not a big fan, want someone who can cross and pass a lot better. Do respect his scoring ability and obvious work rate.

Mackie is not the best technically, but he always puts a shift in and that is why so many QPR fans love him. We need players like him at the club because he's a top top professional.

QPR legends are players like Stan Bowles, Rodney Marsh and Sir Les. Mackie isn't there yet, but hopefully one day he will be. You've got to love a tryer, and thats what he is.

The three things I was thinking if we went down was first Hughes would go, second Diakite would go and some other team with take the glory & third Mackie would sign for Norwich and fit so well in.

Belief & hard work has made him such an idol for me, he's a great role model to the younger fans that turn up because it's how football should be played, not the Stoke way!
                  Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                  And many more mistakes

mackie's work rate and goals have been crucial for us this season.

whilst he's not legend status yet, he is definitely a great rangers player and we shouldn't forget that. he deserves all the praise we give him when we chant his name from the terraces.

to those who think he should be picking out his passes like zidane, maybe they need reminding that we are qpr after all, we don't have those kind of players at our club (yet), this season we were battling to avoid relegation - not vying for a champion's league place!
                    come on you r's!

Not quite a legend yet but could be the next Gareth Ainsworth
