COVENTRY Sign van Aanholt

COVENTRY City Football Club have signed young Chelsea defender Patrick van Aanholt on loan until the end of the year.

The 18-year-old Dutch left back joins the Sky Blues on loan until December 31.

Aanholt, in his third year at Chelsea following a move from Dutch Eredivisie outfit PSV Eindhoven, made 12 reserve appearances for the London club last season and was the highest appearances holder in the reserves at Stamford Bridge the year before.
