Will Cisse start Sunday?

Anyone think Cisse will still be on the bench Sunday, or will he start?

I have a bad feeling he will be on the bench. For me, hes an obvious starter as the fans get behind him and he is likely to score at any given opportunity. He also has pace when we are on the break. But I just cant see MH changing this formation, especially away to City. Zamora is needed to hold the ball up, and i am sure we will continue to pack the midfield with Diakite (who i assume will be back), Derry and Barton. So where does that leave Cisse?

Diakite is probably the key. Without him, I think the boss feels the need to shore up the midfield with an extra body, so a striker is sacrificed. having said that, all the home wins recently have been achieved using the formation excluding Cisse. Wasn't Liverpool the last time the boy played as one of a 2 man attack?

I can understand the 5 4 1 formation without cisse, but at the same time, it clearly hasnt worked away from home for as long as i can rememeber. I would be tempted go to go for it, because if we do fall behind - it will be extremely hard to come back.

Im looking forward to seeing how Diakite gets on against Yaya in midfield that for me will be a key battle and one that Man City fans will be thinking is very one sided but how little they know.

i dont want Cisse to start if he's going to play on the left wing like last time against chelsea

if cisse starts up top we are more likely to score than if zamora does.

i dont think playing zamora is something we should consider as they can play a high line and just press us for 90mins.

with cisse they will be cautious and this could give our midfield space to work..

im 50/50 on swp.. i think he's been poor all season but he has more pace about him than mackie but in same breath mackie will force city to make errors.

Even though I like him as a player the same thing can be said for Buzz, free kicks apart I find him too slow and tackles just arent good enough.
