I actually thought the Huth/Mackie encounters were good old fashioned footballing tussles. Didn't think Huth did much wrong save for being a big, cumbersome log who doesn't really physique of a full back.

Thought Huth out muscled Mackie, and Mackie was getting frustrated as he should have been skinning him constantly as Mackie clearly has the pace on him.

With Mackies efforts though Stoke had to get players over to help out Huth and by the end Huth was losing his composure. Mackie must have massive bruises but a fair encounter IMHO, well done Mackie again

Agree. Huth was just bigger, stronger and better on the day. Fair play to Mackie didnt give up though... Although not to much avail, Huth looked like an adult playing against a kid at times!
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Think that’s the worst example of time wasting I have ever seen down the Bush

The irony when we went one nil up and the crowd delayed giving the ball back and they were crying to the ref
The best part was when Kenny wasted time as he kept the ball on the floor for a while

Stoke's tactics were strange - Why time waste ? It's not like they needed a point to stay up. A win yesterday and next week could have lifted them 5 places up the table. At £750k+ for each place, that would add nearly £4million to their coffers.

Hopefully, the 3 places and £2.25 million extra for winning next week will be an incentive, especially in front of their own fans.
