Starting line up on Sunday

We know Stoke wont come and play football? but in the away game at stoke we did with Traore causing havoc down their left hand side so I'm going to include him and attack we need to win

We need aerial ability defensively and play football on the floor offensively as they have Huth & shawcross who will win the majority in the air.

I would play mackie up top with Cisse and put Zamora on the bench. Taarabt - Diakite - Barton - Traore across the midfield. Hill & Ferdinand need to be up for an aerial bombardment!!

I hope Diakite is fit but if not I like this formation! Very nervous anticipating this match!

That team is ok if Diakite is out, in fact Traore may be able to play a similar role to him as he will take the ball, is good technically, can break quickly and also defend well when needed.

That said hope, Diakite is ok and plays with Barton in the middle with Traore Left and Taraabt right, Cisse and BZ up top.

Tarbs has been quite effective on the right this season (or whenever he was in that sort of position). Him on the left doesn't work for him in the Prem imo (or this season), either play him behind the striker(s) or on the right.
