Diakite to sign?

Just read an article saying Mark Hughes wants to sign Samba Diakite even if we go down. Doubt Samba would want to sign unless we're in the Prem but he would destroy the championship. Hope it happens.

Great to hear. Keep thinking what he and Faurlin cd do together in midfield. Throw Barton into the mix with Adel or Traore on left of midfield and Hoilet who isn't toilet on the right wing and that is some midfield.

Article said a fee has been sorted and I think they quoted £3.5million. Not sure about wages though. Can't be massive as a championship club couldn't sustain it could they?

Inevitably we will lose some players if we go down, but I'd be interested to see what sort of player Hughes would attract in the championship.

The most important thing now is that we show the fotballing world that that we are a stable club.
Infact, I do think that most of the players will stay with us. The grass isen´t always greener at other clubs(Cisse,Taiwo).
I do also feel that many of the new signings really have taken to Loftus Road and it´s passionate crowd.

Just a (naive?) thought from me,I know!! But anyway..here´s hoping

If we go down, knowing we get to keep Diakite, Faurlin, Taarabt, Cisse, and some others then I wouldn't mind going down one bit! We would tear the Championship apart with this squad. Also, Hughes would bring in some more unknown talent and we'll see where we go from there.

You and me both mate, the pair would complement each other perfectly and would tear the Championship a new one.

It would probably be our best central midfield since Bonnot and Palmer smashed League 1.

Unfortunately heard this too. AW type player but I bet a few more prem clubs would be sniffing around. Not to mention his agent trying to nick a few quid.
