because if they drop him it shows huge flaws in the ref system - that the refs who have been given a license for top PL and european games are not up to the ability of the modern game.
they would need to review the entire thing. we all know (as fans) that it needs to be done...
but the FA are holier than thou.

To be honest, mate.....Most of the rest aren't that far behind him.
The overall standard of officiating in the premier league, has to be the worst I've ever seen in nearly 40 years watching football.
The governing body, the FA, bordering on corrupt. Awful, just awful.
