  • Shame that many QPR fans were sent home

Many QPR fans sent straight back home on the train shortly before kick off after being attacked in a pub by the ground though WBA fans allowed to carry on to watch to the game!

                  Wagon & Horses.

Don't worry the lads gave a good account of themselves considering it was a 4 to 1 situation.

The worst I ever encountered when going away regularly in late 70's & 80's.

Wrong mate. Mainly young heads & a couple of older not old lads. 40 odd West Brom turned up started slinging bottles & bricks over the wall (cowardly) the 10 -12 R's who were in beer garden at the time came out & gave them a good shoeing. If the others in the bar had known what was happening the west brom lot would of been murdered.

Couple of injuries through bottles to the nuts, couple nicked & lads escorted back to London prior to game.

Also worth mentioning that their was many West Brom fans in the boozer when the incident occurred & they all made a point to the West Midlands police of saying the Rangers fans did f*ck all wrong & simply defended themselves after being attacked with bricks & bottles.
