    The swans message board

Just had a look and before the game they were saying we play hoof ball and are just dirty, like stoke essentially!

We showed them by outplaying them in there own half, even at one point we were keeping the ball in the corner, just doing little one two's around them. While they just pass between their keeper and their back four!

Sorry i can't link the forum, but it is planet swans if you want to check out their comments.

Their remarks are ridiculous. All they do is keep the ball and do nothing with it. Not only is it boring, but it in ineffective. They are trying to be Arsenal, but without the ability.
Whenever we had the ball, we looked like we would score. The only reason they have not lost so many games, is because they have the ball all the time - but they do nothing with it. Possibly the most boring side ive ever seen

What was funny is that we showed them how to play the game they thought that they had already mastered.

Do their fans get a couple of cans of Red Bull and packet of pro-plus with each match ticket to keep them awake. Yes they have done well to get the points they have this season by playing that way but it would do my head in to watch that every week.

what's interesting about Swansea is that their style of football is fine if they are winning......but if they go behind......they have no way of changing their style and don't seem capable of turning a game...

Wouldn't have mattered last night though....we were unstoppable

In a funny way, they reminded me of Liverpool in the early 80s. Just back and forth, but without any match winning ability!

Sorry Paul, I think that's an insult to the great Paisley teams. I get where you're coming from because Liverpool did tend to go backwards and sideways at times, but with them it nearly always resulted in them getting into the final third and creating goal scoring opportunities.

This Swansea team just pass it for the sake of it and Hughes' tactics were superb - they can only hurt us in the final third so don't let them play the game there - simples.

Graham must get so bored up front, waiting and waiting and... waiting...

They need some balance in their play they are too predictable. I like their ability to keep the ball but they also need to be able to get behind opposition. Their only chance of that is if their wingers are playing well. And they weren't.
