  • Joey Barton and twitter

Noticed that since his twitter sabattical which started on the day of Sunderland game, he has played against arsenal and Swansea and in both games he has been immense! Connection there?

    Well played tonight joey!

He was superb tonight. It's like watching a different player.

The improvement in his play is more down to getting booed at Liverpool and being dropped than stopping on Twitter. He was man enough to say so after the game last night.

He was supurb, as was Diakite. They really bossed and dictated the game. Diakite looks more dynamic but it was Barton constantly demanding the ball and orchestrating the whole game from our point of view.

That was the Barton we thought we were signing, calm, composed, skillful, good passing, good shooting, good leadership.... Fantastic.

Agreed but I think the amount of followers he got on twitter turned his head and he became a bit of a media lovey. As you said the fans and MH brought him back down to earth. Needs to play like that for the rest of the season.

And yet again, he has had his fair share of problems off the field, That´s why I think he deserves all the success he can possibly get now.
            He really is a fighter.

            Well done, Joey.
