IMHO it would be a bad start. Based on last seasons hooodoo of not winning many away games winning this game is a must. It's important to get the players into a winning mentality. We need to win 13-16 home games and at approx 8 away games to be guaranteed a playoff spot (STAT MAN SIR PIE TO THE RESCUE PLS). This seasons division is going to be harder than ever as there are quite a lot of clubs who all fancy themselves seriously and I think there will be a lot of teams who will beat each other.
The same old cliché needs to be brought back and that being WE NEED TO MAKE LOFTUS ROAD A FORTRESS!
Looking at our first 7 games I think everyone of them we should be looking to take maximum points from both home and away. If we are serious about getting promoted then there is no better way than to take 17 points minimum from the first 21 available.Comment

If we played blackpool around november time i would say it's a home banker but being the first game of the season neither team is bringing any form be it bad or good into the game, anything can happen saturday you tend to get funny results on the opening day and one thing's for sure ollie will have them fired up.Comment
