Advice on bringing my 3yr old Saturday

I still think he is too young.
Just hope when we score it doesn't scare the life out of him.

Hl is down the bottom in the lower loft in the corner that's closest to SA road.

He'll be fine there been told it's not so loud, just hope we get a win for his first game!

Mine are 3 and 1, and I cant see me taking them for a couple of years. The eldest's attention span is about 20-30mins, and thats if he's watching something like Shrek or Finding Nemo! I wouldnt want him to have a bad first experience and then not want to go again. All it needs is some drunken eejit, a crowded tube or a bit of aggro and they could be scarred for life. Plus it would spoil my pre-match drinking routine!

Yeah I'll definatly let you all know how his day pans out, gonna do my best to make it run smoothly for him, avoiding any trains for a start, gonna drive in and park by the ground, load up on sweets and drinks, take him in the club shop for a treat then get in the ground and get him settled. Sitting in the family stand so hoping for no drunken louts and foul language!

He's pretty good with his attention span, loves going to the cinema and sits through a whole film with hardly no bother so kind of hoping there will be plenty going on to keep him interested. Fingers crossed he'll have fun and we win!

done it myself 20yrs ago - enjoy it mate - this week they've got face painters and fireworks etc - he'll love - but be prepared for his disappointment at the next game when the face painters etc aren't there - make sure you take him to Cooks for his obligatory pie n mash - good luck mate

Yeah he will love all that and even woke up this morning asking me if we're going football today?

He's already a seasoned pro of cooks pie and mash! Been taking him on there since he was a baby now he shares a double with his mum and even puts his own vinager on! Lol

Thanks mate, his name is Charlie named after his late great grandad who was a life long Qpr fan too! Will be nice to sit there with my dad and my son all three generations of rangers supporters

As a dad of two i took my oldest to QPR v Watford age 5.. my advice 3 is far to young.

well like i said mate, ive taken mine to a few and my youngest is 3 and he loves it. it really depends on the child, mine are like urs, they can sit thru a film in the cinema without a peep. so id imagine ur lad is gonna be fine, have a top day mate

I am sorry a cinema is slightly different to what I expect a full and very loud QPR stadium. You always get silly sods that shout awful things. A scary enviroment for a 3 year old. I was 7 when I went to my 1st game and I was old enough to enjoy it. U don't want to scare the poor little kid. Pubs and stadiums are not the right place for a 3 year old he has plenty of years to suffer with us why rush him into it.

with regard to cinema we are talking about attention spans thats all m8. my youngest loved it, whereas my eldest, 7, dont give a sheeet. i have to be honest i havent had too much cases of swearing, the odd "oh ffs" etc but nothin the boys aint used to hearin
