How was the new surface yesterday ?

After all the griping from the players last season re the pitch wasnt condusive to good football, was it a factor yesterday, and will it make a difference this season ?

Pitch looked top notch yesterday, you can definitely see a difference and think it will have a beneficial effect on how we play.

Nope. We are using Aldershot for reserve games.

As part of the deal in playing Aldershot in preseason friendly, QPR donated all the gate reciepts to them and have also gave them a 5 figure sum to use their ground for all reserve matches.

shame as i live in the bush. aldershot- ridiculously far....
but will mean our pitch will be lush for longer.
