    All our defeats...

    ...since Utd (18/12/11) have all been by the odd goal...
    granted we've played bad, granted we've not won enough games...

    ...but we're not getting "stuffed" like one would think.

    yes there is a million miles difference between just "the odd goal"...but i never really looked at those stats...i genuinly find it quite reassuring.

    Goal difference could be very important come the end of the season.

            i can recall 4 teams to have beaten us by more than a goal...man utd 2-0, bolton 4-0, wigan 2-0 and...that other one i wont mention.
            yeah i spose a loss is a loss and is still 0 points at the end of the day but goal difference, as others have said, could be crucial.
            i fully expected us to take several serious hammerings this season.

              spurs 3-1 too...think that's all of them...but yeh - only one hammering. and i think we've come so far now that we've got enough strength not to get turned over...even though we still need a bit more drive to get the wins.
