I went to my first game when I was 3 - my Dad lived in Kilburn and had supported Rangers since he was a lad (Bert Adinall was his hero). I remeber listening to the football scores and one team stood out - QPR of course -a unique name.I couldn't believe my luck when I discovered that was my dad's team. We lived in Stanmore. As soon as I was old enough I became my Dad's passport to get to games. Lucky for me I started going to every home games just after we lost 6-0 away to Brentford in 1965. What a ride we've had since then! My two son's are totally hooked and get to more games than I can (we now live in Wiltshire)- my dad still follows all the Rangers news with the usual frustration.By the way, Ted, I think you must mean the Mike Keen testimonial against Chelsea -lost 4-0 and some charming Chelsea idiots mobbed me, nicked my bobble hat and gave me a thump simply for being there. What a repulsive bunch they truly are.(Come on Napoli! get in there!)Comment
