  • Mark Lawrenson's Prediction for Bolton Wanderers v Queens Park Rangers

Bolton Wanderers v Queens Park Rangers

Neither of these teams have managed a win in their last five league matches and this is a huge game for both of them at the bottom of the Premier League table.

For a little while now, Bolton boss Owen Coyle has been talking about having some winnable fixtures coming up at home and how, if they win them, they will be fine. This is definitely one of those games he will have singled out, but there is always a danger of slipping up when you put so much emphasis on what a win would mean.

After their draw with Everton last week, when they also managed to avoid having a player sent off, I just wonder if QPR's luck might be starting to change. Having Djibril Cisse back from suspension will help their cause too.

A point for Rangers here would undoubtedly be a better result for them than for Bolton but, in the run-in, it will be wins that will be the key for both teams and decide whether they stay up.

Prediction: Bolton Wanderers 1-1 Queens Park Rangers
