Wouldn't say he was poor, thought he played quite well and was unlucky not to score. Agree he needs to get more shooting practice done though.Top Scorers 2018/2019

If you can't see what's obvious then that's your concern.Originally posted by James1979 View Postcomments like this really **** me off. He had his back to the player and was trying to shield the ball. He wasn't doing any fancy stuff. Consistently gifted them the ball? Bloody shameful comment. He's putting in a shift in every game and been our most creative player. He makes mistakes but we're far better with him in the team than without. Good thing is that most qpr fans realise that...as does the manager.
I didn' say he was doing any fancy stuff, only he gifted them posession, which is correct. The fact is we had a break on and he had runners beyond him and an easy out ball to the full back, but instead chose to cut back and try to beat a man he didn't need to. He lost the ball and the rest is history.
And he has given the ball away plenty this season whether you want to accept it or not, no different on Saturday. Against Fulham especially his passing was awful, yet many won't hear a bad word against him, but will be very vocal about the likes of SWP and Barton. It's laughable.
Yes he's putting in a shift, but that should be the bare minimum... the fact it's highlighted more with Taraabt is simply becasue he's working harder than he did in the past, not harder than anyone else in the team.

Well I wanted he dropped after his first half showing at spurs. So, I would hardly claim to be in the "he can do no wrong" camp. But now, I think his performances since he's come back in the team have been very good. If you look at our play, the creativity and chances come from traore's crossing, buszacky set pieces and Adel.Originally posted by Del View PostIf you can't see what's obvious then that's your concern.

I have no issues with SWP or Barton. I think this is one where we will have to agree to disagree.

Fair play. Don't get me wrong, I have no issue with him and agree he can be more often than not our most creative player, and has improved his overall game massively in the last couple of months, but he can also be our downfall in games. What he did on Saturday which led to their goal was unnecessary as he had options and a lot of space when he received the ball. In our own half he should just keep the move ticking over, as Faurlin would do. If in the final 3rd, try to beat a man and create something by all means but not in our own half.Originally posted by James1979 View PostWell I wanted he dropped after his first half showing at spurs. If he can improve this, which i'm sure he will, then he will only get better, which is good for us.
I do find it very frustrating though when he fails to make simple passes (even simpler given his talent). I can only assume it's a lack of concentration, and again if he sort this he could become a real star player for us, especially next season when we start afresh, hopefully in the prem, with Hughes and his team.

he shouldn't really be that deep in my opinion. He's going looking for the ball so he can influence the game but his game involves taking risks. It's fine to try and beat a man around their penalty area but not in our own half. Thought he reacted well to the mistake as Hughes said in the interview.

Drew the foul that we scored from with an amazing piece of skill. LolOriginally posted by BennyBoyRs View PostI thought Taarabt was s**t yesterday. He gave away/lost the ball more than anyone, and it was his fault for the goal. If that was a certain other two players, they'd be hung out to dry.
Funny old game, eh?
