    This is an old article which was probably posted before but would be interested to here comments on it given today's situation.

    Interesting that Phil Beard says that he has made contingency plans for relegation.

    He didn't say that mark Hughes could be sacked, didn't say that at all. Guardian twisted his words.

      No he did not say that directly, but he also did not say that his job was safe whatever. The problem is Mark Hughes has only managed in the top flight and managing in the lower divisions is not the same.

      This is not a pessimistic post as I still think we can stay up.
