Definitely! He had a good game last week, under the circumstances. He had a couple of misplaced passes, but when you have as much of the ball and cover the ground he does, that's bound to happen. Adelaide, who I'm a massive fan of, made more sloppy passes but he gets forgiven. People hate Barton for previous behaviour when he wasn't even here. At every other club bar Fulham, he would be backed, but our support seems to be becoming more Fulham-like by the game.

Who else we can put in-play? Mackie`s recent performance is not good, Derry started the season very well and then slowed a lot, F. Hall should`ve been released long ago,.... With Diakite and Sisse suspended and Faurlin injured I don`t see who we can play?

Agree for the lack of movement, absolutely! They have to run more and more, there is so mach open space and we can create so many dangerous counter attacks, etc.

Young has been at fault for too many goals. He's played well, but made the vital mistakes, plus he's been out for weeks. Like I said, Hill was our best player last week. Even if he wasn't your MOM, you'd have to at least put him as the second best for last week. Plus, he's probably been our most steady, consistant player when called upon this season.

Not in a million years would I drop him.

But like I say mate, that midfield was too weak. Not that my version is full of steel, but it's as good as we have for Everton.

Yes, Young made some fatal mistakes, most of them were when he was covering the zones of his team mates.

Talking for vital mistakes - Barton has the worst record.

Hill is a championship player, some times is very slow, he is predictable. Everybody on the pitch know whe he gets the ball will pass it to Derry. I don`t remember Clint to have played two consecutive matches on high speed. He also makes naive mistakes getting booked often. I like him like a player but you are right - he is not my MOM.

Quoted this yesterday in another thread people just dont like him because of his arrogance & self importance? I personally dont feel he's ever played that bad! as for team for Sat not sure H.H or Young will be ready for this game and saw one about Mackie Adel Buzz & Traore. yes traore on the left but Buzz & Adel through the middle youv'e got to be having a laugh? we would get murdered in midfield

Barton is our best midfielder by a mile, some people just hate him for completely non-football reasons. Far worse players than Barton.

Not true, I hate him for his performances and attitude on the pitch this season.
