I would like to begin with clarifying that this is no positive/optimistic post whatsoever, I have prepared myself for a lovely year in the Npower Championship next season, and I believe we blew our chance today. My question is, image yourself as (to begin with) a Wigan fan, with the same spirit as we are at the moment- which one of these following games would you expect to win, or grab points from?
    Swansea H
    Norwich A
    WBA H
    Liverpool A
    Stoke H
    Chelsea A
    Man Utd H
    Arsenal A
    Fulham A
    Newcastle H
    Blackburn A
    [B]Wolves H

If these were our fixtures I'd reckon we would grab max 5 pts from these 12 games with our current form. So how many will Wigan collect? Thoughts?

Lets move forward to Blackburn then, hammered today at Etihad 3-0.
These are their coming 12 fixtures:
    Aston Villa H
    Wolves A
    Sunderland H
    Bolton A
    Man Utd H
    WBA A
    Liverpool H
    Swansea A
    Norwich H
    Tottenham A
    Wigan H
    Chelsea A

    Thoughts?

    Bolton's last 12:
    Man City A
    QPR H
    Aston Villa A
    Blackburn H
    Wolves A
    Fulham H
    Newcastle A
    Tottenham H
    Swansea H
    Sunderland A
    WBA H
    Stoke A

    Thoughts?

    Wolves last 12:
    Fulham A
    Blackburn H
    Man Utd H 0
    Norwich A
    Bolton H
    Stoke A
    Arsenal H
    Sunderland A
    Man City H
    Swansea A
    Everton H
    Wigan A

    ??

    Our last 12 then? 3? 5pts?
    Everton H
    Bolton A.
    Liverpool H
    Arsenal H
    Swansea H
    WBA, A
    Tottenham H
    Chelsea A
    Stoke H
    Man City A

The bottom 5 are awful this season, 29-30 pts will be enough for safety this year.

    16. Wolves
    17.Bolton
    -------------
    18.QPR
    19. Blackburn
    20. Wigan

NPC, looking forward to trash palace twice next season

Us and Blackburn have the hardest run in's IMO.

Ranger's,Blackburn and either Wolves or Wigan to go down.

    Think Bolton will survive.

yup... really it's now about who the worst three of the bottom five are.

it's weird... if we survive, i think we'll be fine next year.

but... i think coyle is a really good manager - it's more-or-less a level playing field and i'd be surprised if bolton were one of the bottom three.

mh is undoubtedly a good manager but things seem to be not going our way at the mo'. hope cisse can keep his cool on return - without a doubt our upcoming opponents will have noticed how he reacts to bad tackles.
kean is awful, but somehow manages to get a result when he needs one.
connor is unknown... he got something from the toon in his first match that mh couldn't... i would normally wish him well, but i kind of hope he finishes just be hind us.
martinez????? possibly doomed, possibly not - wigan seemed to have survived against the odds for a long time...
