I don't believe the club will need to break the pay structure. It depends how desperate our competition are for him. If no one offers him more than our limit he would opt to stay South and join us for what we want to pay him.

Problem is someone might get silly with the wages on a shorter contract.

What is our budget for a weekly wage if anybody knows? any ideas who highest paid is? 25K is a lot to pay in the championship espesh if we have a high bill already?

Hall is apparently on £18k a week. I would estimate the average is up from £4k a few years back to around £10k.

I think we could go to £15k and then add ons for goals and a nice little earner if he reaches a certain number of goals and/or we go up.

Billy Sharp has just been put on the transfer list at Sheff U. In my opinion he is 10 times the striker Lita is and has a much better attitude. If the board are worried about the money Sharp would also be a much cheaper option i would think!
