I hear from Ipswich fans Magilton has a massive problem with big time charlies and Lita would certainly fall into this catergory. Can't remember who he fell out with but once he did the player(s) were virtual outcasts from the squad. There is no doubt Lita will score goals especially with the flair in our midfield but with his sort of form what happens if he starts throwing his toys out of the pram becasue hes 'premiership innit'.

I would imagine Lita would become our highest paid player ever if he signed, I'm hearing figures quoted at over 20k a week. How would it affect the rest of the squad if there was a fall out between him and the managment for what ever reason. Everyone deserves a fresh start and all that but despite everyone screaming and shouting about signing him here we are less than 2 weeks before the start of the season and the man hasn't got himself a club yet.

Key to any promotion bid is good morale within the squad with everyone pulling in the same direction but then again good man management underlines this as well. I was always under impression if he signed for a CCC team it would be us, I guess now we'll have to wait and see. I'm sure many would see him as the final piece in the jigsaw if a LB signs too push for promotion if we get him and in all fairness he is the best available and within our price range so lets go get him (even if I think his attitude stinks).
Agree w12. If you look at Burnley they were a united team all pulling in the same direction. You could argue that Eagles is their big time charlie but Coyle dropped him as soon as he got to big for his boots. If Magilton (more likely Gorman) can manage Lita then he would be a very decent signing. But as you ask what would it do to the rest of the squad if his attitude gets in the way? I've no problem with his salary being the highest at the club. Surely most understand that the strikers are 9 times out of 10 the highest paid at a club and he would be our best striker so why not pay him the most.

          Same here gill.
I think he is excactly the type of striker we need.
His attitude can be handled and although I don't like the man, if he scores goals who cares
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Attitude problem or not,61 goals in 186 games ( ave.1 in 3 ) is better than most of those we've been linked with recently and is available on a freebie. The wages might be a problem though.I say yes to "the fox in the box".

Be a good signing...Routledge seems to have an attitude but still does the business....Taraabt seems a bit big time charlie but still does the business.

if we sign Lita I will honestly dig deep into my pockets and go get a season ticket...I actually think a few people will....I know he is known to be an arrogant so and so but he would definitely score goals....I think him and Helguson would be a great Duo up front.

We should go for it, he has the track record and he knows the league and had experience in promotion, he is exactly the player we need.

Lita - arrogant, concieted, attitude problem, disruptive and generally nasty.

Do you know what I still think we should sign him!!!!!!:exciting:
