Without meaing to start a ruck...exactly how or why do we pick these bold game out as winable?
Arent they all teams (bar 1) that are either above us or have beaten us this season? I think?
Plus the form of Sunderland and even Swansea does make the obvious winable games for me...
Just wondered what your reasoning is...Many of them are much "bigger" clubs than us..?

Fair point. Taking out the big 6 coz they are in technically a different league and we don't expect wins, means we are left with the other 7 and its almost a lottery among all of them as to who finishes 20th and who finishes 8th, so we have a more realistic chance of 3 points than against the others. We have to get points somewhere or we drop.

OK boss, sorry if I misunderstood and hope you are right. My own hunch is we have always been such a contrary team we will lose the ones we shd get something out of and might just get some results in games where we are given no chance. Anyway, who cares as long we we sneak it?

Our results have been all over the place, you're right. Games we didn't deserve to win like Everton and Chelsea, and games we should have won like Villa and Newcastle at home.

I did question the 'going for a win every game' policy that NW had. Its very naive in the prem. Experienced prem teams who have done the relegation battle a few times know how to go away and play a back line of 5 and be happy with a 0-0 like the Newcastle home, and steadily pick up as many away single points to their 40 target as poss, and then try to win at home. Villa and Fulham do it well too.

13 points might be enough, but I do fancy us to get points at Bolton and beat WBA. Fulham are becoming away draw specialists too so a win would be great but I have it down as 1 point. I thought we might beat Everton at home, but Pienaar seems to have given them renewed confidence. Its gonna be tight.

Can't figure out whether we can collect enough points to stay up. It very much depends on how many points will Wolves, Blackburn, Wigan and Bolton collect as well.

One thing going for us is that we will be a lot playing teams with nothing to play for ala Sunderland , WBA , Swansea and Stoke so although they look difficult on paper we should pick up points

However IMO it will all be irrelevant if we don't pcik up at least 4 points from our next two home games

Suprised so many think we will beat Everton - our result earlier in the year is not a benchmark for this game.

We don't really have a lot to justify expecting to beat those teams. We are losing points to the worst teams in the league and some of our wins (yes, especially Chelsea) were hardly due to good performance by us.

The only possible chance we have of staying up now is that the three others actually do even worse than us - it won't be due to us stringing a load of performances together.

We are already relying on others, although the table may suggest otherwise.
