Now its just 5 of us to fight it out

With West Brom spanking Wolves, they're now 8 points clear of us and arguably they've broken away. So now its us, Wigan, Wolves, Blackburn and Bolton to fight it out.

Question is, whose got the balls to fight to the last and claim another season in the promised land and whose going back to the Championship??

On paper our squad should be good enough but we've all seen how much that matters in the last few games, its not about skill and reputation any more, its all about who really wants it the most and I'm not sure our lot do...

    Thought?
2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!

2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....

2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....

    2015/2016, average at best.....

    2016/2017, same old, same old....

    2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!

Its the hope that kills you!

Every game is MASSIVE, as they have been since Bolton beat us.

I don't think the run ins matter too much, after all who would have thought we would beat Chelsea and Stoke but lose to Wolves & Wigan for example.

You're right and exactly what I was going to post about it being 3 from 5 teams now. I just can't see 3 of us being good enough with a dozen or so games left to play.

Suffice to say Fulham is our next cup final. Win this and we have a chance. Confidence must be low so a win against them is very important. Then we have another home game and can go into this with a win under our belts and the chance of our first double of the season, another confidence booster. Then Cisse returns and who knows....

I think Wolves are the worst team closely followed by Wigan. There's something about Blackburn that tells me they can make it so it's us or Bolton....

A game can change alot though and the question is "will a win vs the cottage boys actually drag them into it"? Here's hoping!

I think wolves are certs to drop. They are woeful and were lucky to beat us even when we had 10 men.

Wigan also as too inconsistent and mostly poor.

I also think Bolton will drop as have very little going forward and rarely look likely to score.

Feel us and blackburn will survivr and maybe pull away from the others a bit in a few weeks.

            i

i am amzed at yakubu hes scored 14 goals and is playing the best football of his career so i think he can save blackburn, and i hope cisse and mackie can save us,not forgetting helgerson

wigan, bolton and wolves too drop, i think unless they suddenly turn up the pressure

We need to keep things tight.

You can see from this weekend how vital goal difference is now.
Even nicking a point here and there could be vital.

We just need to keep Fitz Hall and Rob Hulse on line painting duties, litter picking and anywhere but the 1st team squad
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

I would imagine Wolves will have a new manager tomorrow?

If we continue not to improve very much then we will be rock bottom. That is not Lottery but a fact.
