For us that would mean around 29k."

The weather forecast for Blackburn states 80% chance of snow tomorrow (pretty high), then light snow showers on Saturday afternoon (70%)

No, and it's not worth it here. I lived in Munich for 5 years where winter tyres are mandatory and in the South of England we really don't have the climate for them. We get about 3 days of conditions a year that would require them, no point in compromising grip for months on end just in case.

Exactly. An inch or 2 of snow wont cancel the game. Our country seems to have a habit of going into meltdown whenever the white stuff shows up.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Its not the snow its the ice under neath, it will be because of the surrounding areas being dangerous under foot.

Drove through Blackburn and past the ground a couple of hours ago, everything is fine, temperature is above 0, it would take a blizzard for the game to be called off
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks

I have 2 spare wheels fitted with snow tyres; if the stuff comes, I put them on the front. When snow's gone, I replace them with the original wheels. Takes 20 mins. Simples.
