The quarter final is today. If they should get to the semi finals that is on Wednesday. Think that would be bit too late for him to get back and play on Saturday. The final is next Sunday. Not sure why the FA did not have the next round of the cup next weekend (with a week off for the league) because then all players could be back from the African Cup for the next league game.

Diakite is just a kid - he cant save us on his own. He might not even be good enough for the first team in PL.

Think the optimism surrounding Diakite is a bit strange. Just get the feeling that if I had signed on deadline day people would be looking forward to seeing me play in the hope that I, or anyone, has to better than Derry at the moment.
                  We badly miss Faurlin.

Looks like the "somewhere, over the rainbow" gang are reaching out to grasp the nearest straw.

Diakite, is a totally unknown, untried, untested, quantity.

And to be perfectly frank, going on what I have seen in two games now, I'm far from hopeful that another new signing is going to make all that much of a difference, I really don't.

No, we really don't miss Faurlin.
We were just as incompetent with him, as we are without him.

The optimism around him is solely due to the fact that Hughes thought that we only needed ONE central midfielder in the transfer window. That means that he is content that the kid, Derry, Barton and Buszacky can cover our CM obligations this season. Oh dear.

As good as Taiwo may become, surely someone like Muntari on loan would have been a much much better option.

Still, we've got SIX strikers in the 25, so I expect Sparky to play three of them each game.

Oh, wait a minute, Sparky plays the QPR fans' way doesn't he - 442 or you haven't got a clue, isn't it???

Just like to tell it as it is, and not how I would like it to be, that's all, Matty.

Fair play mate, sometimes I think I should view things abit more like that as I always try and be very optimistic but QPR this season are making that harder and harder with our constant letting us down
