Barton did play Ok against Villa. He is not the problem, the problem is who to play alongside him.
Anyway, sometimes he seems to lack a bit in concentration.

This whole new team needs to gel. IF they manage to do so, we will be fine.
And I look forward to see what Diakite brings to the table.

As for Barton, I agree his passing has been poor, but to be fair even when he ain't playing well you can't really knock is effort..

None of us are ecstatic, another sending off cost us at least a point. Who we got is what we got till the end of the season, we ain't got anyone better so stop crying and at least get behind the boys till the end of the season. Our 25 man squad should be capable of staying up if not hey go. Can sit all night and coat the team but ain't Gunna help just look at Blackburn. Anyway well gutted tonite roll on the next game.

Oh dear. Please think before you post. We're all passionate about our team but clearly both sean and Joey contributed more today than any of us.
