It's clearly violent conduct and soccer has defined rules for that, yes he did nothing to hurt him but you can be sent off for a lunging 2 footed studs up tackle that completely misses! I play ice hockey we get away with all kinds of rough and sometimes dirty stuff but that's irrelevant, this is football and Cisse's stupidity cost us 3 valuable points IMHO!

I am just so frustrated with the lack of consistency in our game. The foul warranted a bigger punishment than the reaction, so did O'Hara's assault on Barton who, to his credit, just got up and got on with it..............should have made a meal of it IMO because we would have won a 10 a-side just as easily as we were in contol of 11 aside
