What is interesting in these squads is the "home grown" players because although Arsenal are legendarly for having a squad full of foreigners, the one that surprised me was Wigan with only 6 home grown !! second to arsenal,is this because overseas players dont actually know who Wigan are and blindly sign for Premier football, and home grown players know better ??

"A home-grown player will be defined as one who, irrespective of his nationality or age, has been registered with a club affiliated to the Football Association or the Football Association of Wales for a period, continuous or not, of three entire seasons or 36 months prior to his 21st birthday".
Therefore, by the time they turn 18 and are ready to play in the first team, these Ghanaian Kids are deemed "homegrown".You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

How come that it appears that Matty started this thread, when in fact I did? It's not that important but I would like to know as we have had people changing thread titles as well and I don't think it's right.Opinions are like A******s, everyone has one, but nobody wants to see the other guy's.
