You wouldn't get made skipper unless the manager expects to pick you most weeks ...skip is usually the one name who is going to be first on the team sheet week in week out ....so its a case of who is going to play alongside Rowly in the centre of the park this season ...Legs, Mahon, Buzz, Faurlin?

Would be unfair to strip him of it as he's done nothing to warrent that happening so It's a sensible and correct decission for me.

Also he mentions about other Strong leaders yet I can't think of any.
Cerny maybe but I think you need an outfield player as Captain so I think Rowland gets his place because of this.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

All good points, not sure we have leaders either.

Eghamr good point about Rowlands. Does anyone think that mahon or Legs have to play alongside him?

Good decision, I just hope that doesnt garentee him a place even if he is under performing.

Has Legs been talked into playing Right Back?

I don't know how else he fits in.

i think its the right decision and i for one hope he will be in the starting XI most week. 4-4-2 with all them midfielders just dont work tho does it? lol.maybe it will taarabt on the left, routledge on the right but then who plays cm with rowly? buzz? but then defensively we aint gonna be too hot are we? good luck jim LOL.
