It's about time we got a BIG YAWN smiley on this board. That is all I want to say about the thread - big yawn........oh and Sousa was a top class footballer but a mere trainee manager who didn't give me the impression he had what it takes to become a Fergie

havent had time to read all that but what i can take from it is the avatar itself which i rather like.

It does seem relentless, doesn't it.
The same names too. Wonder why they bother...

Personally I dont see the point of being negative towards the club constantly.
Paladini was a target for many years but overall he did a good job bringing in the investment.
Now some moan about the new regime.
Sousa has gone I support the new guy would never boycott games I want to see the team win far to much.
I some times wonder why people love to have a pop at the club they claim to love at every given opportunity sure we all moan a bit but with some if it's not one thing then it's the other.
Shame really.

True, not point debating. He has gone from only going to 1 game to 5, so we see his side of the argument he talks about not going to barnsley or Doncaster away and for that reason he should have an opinion.
I cannot understand the logic in writing to Sousa for forgiveness on behalf of the club. Surely he needed KLR's support duing the games and not once he had gone, if he feels so passionately.
I honestly could not care how many games he went to, but he has such strong opinions and undying affection for Sousa, I cannot see what it is based on, surely not paper articles and brief highlights.
Anyway, we move on.

No point arguing with fans from other websites as it never got anywhere in the past and never will in the future.
If KLR choose`s not to attend games then that is his choice though admittedly he does get on his moral high horse a bit to much in my opinion for someone who chose to boycott QPR.
Xome on folks the season is just a couple of weeks away so lets all start afresh?

In fairness, Dowie's wasn't the worst. i agree the football was a bit pants but at the same time the constant choppin of managers is always gonna have a bad effect on players. so blame the board i say, not the available squadOriginally posted by writtler View PostAll season the football was pretty sh1te - three different managers couldn't get them to consistently produce the goods - says more about the available squad than the managers tbh - we ended up where we deserved to be - mid table.

This is an unbelievably boring debate now.
I sincerly think KLR is continuing to bang on about this for the sake of arguement. Sousa's football was s**t, and although I feel he wasn't given a fair run and dismissed rather abruptly, I also don't see what he did to warrent any extra time. We were dire going forward and he played so many of our attacking players out of position. No one knew where they stood under him and he didn't show us once that he knew what his best 11 was.
I hold no malice against the man and wish him all the best, but if people agree with KLR in believing Sousa was the best thing to happen to QPR in years, then I feel they need to learn a little more about the game.
Just my opinion, of course.

By the same token how can you judge Jim & John based on a couple of friendlies?Originally posted by WeAreQPR12 View PostWell I am with Pete and Scott.
That KLR only went to a handful of games.
How can he judge a manager on just a few games.
Pete has travelled around the whole country, and has a right to express his views.
I do think he was unlucky with injurys BUT we played terrible football and bringing in John and Jim will prove to be a great move!Last edited by writtler; 28-07-2009, 11:39 AM.

ha ha good idea.
it really is time we all moved on though.
there is room for all the different boards-they all have their own styles-it depends what you are looking for and what sort of info/banter/humour you are in the mood for.
inter-board arguments are futile and just soooooooo last season..

Yeah I agree Rblock.
Saying that we probably should arrange a paintballing day.
We will get to know each other in person and we could have 2 teams.
1 team made up of Wearetherangersboys and the other QPR Report.
