I don't understand logic of betting on the outcomes of what's essentially 40+ games for a mere 5/1??? Couldn't you get 5/1 just betting on our next 2 or 3 games instead???? Don't mind a little flutter for a bit of fun or interest but that don't seem like a sensible or good value "proper" bet to me.

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
Well the gamble with this bet, is whether our new classy signings and a new manager who's probably more tactically aware, will outdo the other two teams who haven't significantly improved their squads, but who so far had a better team ethic than us. And I thought 5/1 whether it wins or not is good value for money. Three equal teams equals 2/1 each of three.
We've got the better players without a doubt, so my confidence is higher than risking £500 (which has been my total outlay on this) on a single day's five-fold (5 odds on teams) with the way results have been going this season.
