The minority view cannot ever hold sway over the majority, it will only end in tears.
So the majority can justifiably suppress and bully a minority of the populace because they are the majority?

Why does there have to be what?

Statistically it is impossible for there not to be gay footballers, but none has come out.

When a player that was allegedly racially abused gets ammunition in the post, and death threats hand-delivered to the ground, and 40,000 fans boo another player who was racially abused, can you really blame them for staying silent?

As Joey Barton said, there will be a gay player at some point who is willing to take the considerable risk, and when he does I hope he gets the backing he'll deserve.

Nothing funnier than when bigots start crying about being denied freedom of speech...

I cannot, but whatever the reason is, I'm thankful for it.

What we cannot have, is a situation where the tail is wagging the dog, so to speak.
The majority view, is that which shapes our society, and that is only right.

Ironically, the only bullying I can see, is from a minority wanting to impose itself on the majority, whatever the majority wants.
And the only suppression, attempted suppression at least, comes from the gay lobby and it's hysterical supporters.

That's my whole point, NOBODY should be denied the use of free speech.

You seem half-way intelligent, after a fashion, so I have high hopes of you grasping a very simple concept, when you take a moment to think about it, sometime within the next ten years, or so.

how does that old adage go? " what was once impermissible first becomes tolerated and then becomes mandatory"
When the gay lobby got a law repealed in schools so that it was no longer a legal requirement for schools not to promote homosexuality they instead began to normalize it to children instead. Brainwashing?

Nobody is imposing anything on anybody.

Do you include the Prime Minister in the 'gay lobby', since he has said he would like to see gay marriage legalised?
