It has to happen. You cannot watch a game live or on tv where the ref does not make at least one 'game changing' decision. It is getting to the point where fans could leave the game in droves because of the ill-judged decisions they make. Take the Sunderland v Boro game ... the linesman flags an offside which wasn't the case and the other linesman misses the handball ... they are just guessing most of the time and as for the Chelsea pen it makes you wonder if officials are involved in betting scams as has been suggested to me on several occasions lately!
