He's 30 FFS and a class act for that matter, so how and why is he a has been...?

The last 2 seasons he's scored nearly a goal a game in Greece, hence Lazio paid £5m for him 6 months ago.....

Like I say though I'm happy to give him a chance at ours simply because he offers pace and energy up front which we just don't have. But don't go on like he's some sort of player of top pedigree cos he's really not.

Plus we'll have broken our transfer record for him by the looks of it.

10 in 35 for Sunderland and the fans very much liked him.

24 in 58 for Marseille: hardly not doing it.

His time at Liverpool was hardly judgeable as he had that horrific leg break.

Been played on the wing for Lazio, hense his low goals tally.

yeah, if you ask me they must have been blind or blinded in Lazio when signing him from Panathinaikos. I repeat what I said several times.....the guy is not a team player and his work rate is very bad. Really think this will be a baaaad buy, but I sincerely hope I am wrong

He has a decent record at most clus he's been at. Around 1 in 2-3 games. Liverpoll he was sub a lot i think and rotated by Rafa, and at Lazio has apparently been played on the wing....

It's like if we spent £4m on Andy Johnson would you all be saying well he's an international, he scored loads for Palace that one season, he's been played out of position, he's better than Bothroyd, what did you expect Messi...
