Poor move by Hughes as with only 1 up front allowed them a lot more of the ball and enabled them to get back into the game. At 2-1 it was game on before Smith's great strike.

    Well happy though
    We played two up top.

    SWP was playing alongside Heider

Nope. SWP in front of Barton and Buzz. Pushed on a bit more at 2-1.

He has put SWP in centre midfield in the last 2 games as well

Think Helguson and DJ just need to play more games and build up the understanding, saw a few glimpses today.
I do feel for DJ he just can't seem to get going.

He was holding his hamstring and limping as he came off at half time.

DJ done well. Him and Buzza need match fitness, both good enough for this league.

Now there's three.....should have had a hatrick today!

Didn't do bad with the ball in the middle of the pitch but to describe him as superb is very odd.

Because its always a 4-4-2 is it? We went to what you would probably call a 4-4-1-1/4-2-3-1 at half time with SWP behind the striker. He never truly stuck to any position because he roamed about so much.

Thought DJ showed some very positive signs today, made good use of the ball but still looks very rusty when it comes to his shooting. Hopefully the injury doesnt put a halt to his recovery to form.
