Strikers and midfielders......have we been linked with anyone besides Pienaar and that Brazilian youngster?

I find it a bit worrying that we are spending so much time on getting defensive players in (we haven't got any yet though) when we badly need a proven goalscorer or 2 and a replacement for Faurlin.

Zarate, Ireland and Santa Cruz. Zarate would be a top drawer signing. Not so sure about Ireland, he seems to finally be hitting some form with Villa, whereas Santa Cruz I would only take on pay-as-you-play.

Its important to get strikers who actually get into the box and wnt to score goals. Macheda and Bothroyd seem to want to come deep all the time, and HH doesnt have the legs to do it all.

No exactly....but HH is the only one in the box all the time. Not sure what MH will do when Adel is back......hopefully not the dreadful 4-5-1 or 4-4-1-1. We need two strikers and both should be in the box.
