I have to say I am pleased with the performances so far.
If the team had responded with thrashing mk dons tonight then how many more chances would some get. Ok the work rate is great but quality has now been seen and noted.
Surely now big decisions will be made on the following players
Paddy Kenny - keep as number 1
Luke Young - keep solid rb
Clint Hill - reliable back up lb
Anton Ferdinand - 1st choice cb
Danny Gabbidon - back up cb
Jamie mackie - back up Rm
Sean Derry - back up cm
Akos Buzsacky - back up cm
SWP - first teamer Lm Rm cm
Jay Bothroyd - back up striker
Macheda - 1st team striker
Helguson - back up striker
Tommy smith - back up midfielder
Bradley Orr - back up rb
The rest of the players have not impressed enough to even warrant 1st team squad selection.
Take Barton back in Cm
Ali in cm
Traore as Lb
Adel as midfield
And we can be looking at the following needed more urgent than other places
centre back(Alex)
Cm ????

Based on this would 3 quality signings keep us up, or will we see a few more average joes come in with 1 decent signing?
