I think a lot of people have a soft spot for Mackie but to have him as a first team player is desperate. I would have him in my 25 but only just.

Kenny, Anton, Young, Buzz, SWP, Macheda and Heidur for starting spot contendors. Buzz, IMO, was class tonight. Granted, against League 1 oppo, but you can only play against what's in front of you. Anton was also brilliant.

Need a few additions though urgently or we will be torn apart by any half decent PL side.

Hard not to be negative after watching that....yes we won, but it was pretty pittiful........lets be honest, they all played between average to bad..........as much as we slaf of our attack, the midfiled created nothing for them tonite

What game were you watching - half of them didn't play.

We were pretty weak tonight, but if I hear another person saying Mackie is worth playing because he cares, or Derry gives 100% commitment I will throw a potato at them.

Caring and being comitted are not why they should be on the pitch. Caring doesn't score goals or win games. Being good at football does.
