The one point he was good was when we were in the championship and we were absolute sh!t. Him and Agyemang were up front at the time and Agyemang was banging in loads of goals. Does that mean Dave should get a chance?

Hold on, thats a bad example...

In all fairness Agyemang has had his chance, and played a part in last year, VINE DIDNT and HASNT had a chance since his injury, that was my point

You get your chance if you deserve it. Vine is lazy, didn't play well on loan when he had the opportunity to and has shown disrespect to the club on numerous occasions. Would much rather Andrade, Hewitt or one of the other youth players get a chance

Pointless giving my point when you respond like this each time...

I hear what you're saying, and like I said originally, he was/has been a ******...

However like anything we will never know the full story. e.g. Buzz and Vine being ignored.

vine before his injury was a decent player, big pat had his chance last season. i wouldnt call vine lazy and maybe he has had a long hard look at himself and has shown something on the training ground this past week . he must realise he has been going downhill and now could be his chance to step up

I mentioned in another thread, about the youth team win over Everton, about Andrade and how's he been doing... I liked what i saw in his 10 min cameo against Wigan earlier this season when he made his fullback marker look inept before whipping 2 great balls in the box.

I would love to see a quality youngster fast tracked if feasible. I know for a fact in that 10 mins he did more "wing play" than i've seen Smith do all season in his accumulated time on the pitch.

Dave also played the first few games this season don't forget when the virus went through the club... he managed to miss an open goal at Wigan after Taraabt's shot came back off the post.

Vine probably dont want to play, a prime example of players earning too much wedge. If he had wanted to get fit and play he would of by now. Even the lower league clubs he went on loan to sent him back because he was fat and lazy.
How much is he on, 20 grand?

Vine is a gutless waster. More interested in mucking about in training than playing competitively....shame that keeper didnt break both his legs and put him out the game for good

My mate plays for Brentford and reckon that when Vine was training there he was boasting to them all that he was earning 23k a week. Whether he was inflating his wages for bragging purposes, who knows, but it makes you sick thinking he is earning such money though eh.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Yeah it does mate. That's the problem see, now players are earning this sort of dough if they dont get picked for the team why would they care? Their wages are still in the bank each month.
