a win against mk dons is a must. should play the strongest team available because we have forgotten how to win and another defeat will shatter our convidence even more. and i dont say this because its chelsea in the next round. couldnt care less, but a good win would cheer everyone up before the big one on saturday.

Actually me agreeing with the op on my last post in one way is correct but I too see your point.
Agreed the league is much more important and 3 points is better than going through to the next round and more poss injuries (especially v the ****).
But have you heard of confidence building? For that reason I agree with the op in that it is a must win game.
Confidence breeds positivity, positivity breeds more positivity.

Agree with Silvercue on this one, must win it certainly isn't.

Personally I feel we should put out a team of young players and fringe players who are playing for their future at the club. If we win then great, if not who cares......we had a reserve side out!

The must win game is clearly against Wigan on Saturday.

MH is new and needs to see who these players are. Put out a second string team, see who wants to win a place the most and don't worry too much if we go out fighting.

Martin O'Neill has done this by bringing in that reserve player who has scored twice already.....

TBH - being out of the cup could be a blessing in our current predicament.

We really need to see more of Macheda. I don't think we know what he is capable of - I wish he had come on earlier on Sun, not because I think he would have turned, but because I know what we had on the pitch wouldn't and want to see this guy get some more time.

I agree we need to win this game very important to get some confidence back into the team. if we loose this how confidence will be so low going into the other games I'm not sure we'll be able to pick it up from there on in.
