    I know we lost, but...........

am I the only one that thought we actually looked a better side today?

With better finishing, I think both JB and SWP are trying too hard at the moment, we'd have won today. Our defence looked much better and as a team we defended much better, two rows of 4 accross the park etc etc as Newcastle came at us. Give Sparky time, and results will come.

What was very apparant was the fact that the players body language towards each other was much more positive than it has been for two or so months. What MH can do is get the team playing as one, NW sadly doesn't have that ability when dealing with big players. Had NW not brought in so many 'big' name players I suspect we may be better off. MH will deal with the 'big' names and gel the squad quickly.

People have been slating JB today but I thought he looked much better, when can you remember him running at and taking defenders on? He looked so much more confident than when paying for Warnock.

I guess if the players didn't rate Warnock's ability then its hard for them to do their best every game. I suspect MH has already gained more respect from the majority of our squad in a week than Warnock could have done in a lifetime.

9 points by the beginning of March and we'll be fine. Just a shame MH will be judged by most on here before then and without the likes of Traore and Taarabt.

A win on Tuesday and a result against Wigan and things will look so much better
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

We looked much better first half, but were quite poor during the second. But I also thought that was best game from Bothroyd for a while and that gave me hope he can do good later on. But I think we are alone with this opinion.

Youre not alone. He was so unlucky not to score, hitting the woodwork twice. How some can boo him is completely beyond me - I wont call them fans because in my eyes theyre not, and never will be.

We definitely looked more solid (defensively) and we had more men behind the ball than usual, he got them working harder, still looked very lightweight going forward though, shame we lost HH.

Nice one, mate......And will you take any time out to boo Wigan, or will it just be Rangers players getting the dubious benefit?

Anyone that boos their own players is not a true a fan IMHO - without exception.

I dont mean at H/T or F/T, directed towards the whole team.

I'm talking about singling out individual players.

I'm not going to get into a debate about it because there's no debate to had - its black and white.

You should never boo a player during the game, vent your anger after the final whistle no problem, getting on his back during the game is out of order.

Its totally out of order. It can destroy a player's confidence, and then everyone is a loser. But some people are, quite frankly, too thick to understand that.
