No loss if Barton and SWP go.

Would rather see players willing to pull their weight come in.

"Another whose ears would have been burning was Joey Barton, described by Hughes as a “fairly accomplished player” – I think that’s what they call damning with faint praise."

Even if this is true i cant see clubs queing up to sign him and pay him the sort of dough we are. And Barton wont budge if he stands to lose money

I'd be surprised if MH tries to get rid of Joey. As was seen when he was allowed to leave Newcastle, no one but us wanted him. He's just signed a long term contract and would cost us a fortune to pay it off.

It makes sense for MH to hang onto him and turn him into a better player.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

The Mirror is fast becoming THE least reliable source out there, everything they print is utter tosh.

MH has just stated that Joey will be his captain; of course he wont be getting rid of him.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Barton Going Nowhere - Phil Beard

QPR chief Phillip Beard dismisses speculation that captain Joey Barton will be among the first to be moved on by new manager Mark Hughes.

QPR chief Phillip Beard has dismissed speculation that captain Joey Barton will be among the first players moved on by new manager Mark Hughes.

A Sunday newspaper has suggested that the 29-year-old midfielder is unlikely to figure in Hughes's long-term plans.

But Beard told BBC Sport that he was "flabbergasted" to hear the news.

The British tabloid press, is one of the least trustworthy in the whole of the Western World.
The press in this country bears some responsibility for the country we have now.
I take everything I read in our crap press, with a vast pinch of salt, I humbly suggest more people do likewise.
